Shries Spices

Shries Spices is tucked away at Plot No-25 in the Ramkrishna Bungalow, which is part of the Bharati Niwas Society. This is right on Karve Road in the Erandwane area. It is a bit of a different setup because we are basically working out of a residential-style spot rather than a big industrial warehouse. It makes the whole place feel a lot more personal, honestly. We have been here for a bit, and the neighbors in the society are used to the smell of spices drifting around when we are busy. Erandwane is a pretty crowded place most days, especially with all the traffic on Karve Road, but inside the bungalow, it is usually quiet enough to get things done. We spend a lot of time sorting through the different batches and making sure everything is packed up the way it should be. It is not a huge operation with hundreds of workers, just a small group of us who know what we are doing. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby for visitors. It is just a house where we do our business every day. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time finding the specific plot in the society, so we usually have to go out and wave them down. It’s a simple way of working, but we like being in this part of the city.
