Shanuga Spices Private Limited

Our office is tucked away in Building A/20 of the Aishwarya Apartment at 983/B Shukrawar Peth. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a business like Shanuga Spices Private Limited because it’s a residential building, but it works for us. The apartment is mostly filled with boxes of different spices and bags waiting to be filled. You can usually smell the turmeric and black pepper from the hallway before you even reach the door. It’s a busy neighborhood and finding a parking spot near Shukrawar Peth is basically impossible most days. We spend a lot of time just weighing things out and making sure the labels are on straight. It isn't a massive factory with robots. It’s just us sitting around the table doing the work by hand. Sometimes we run out of tape or the printer jams right when we have a big order to send out. The kitchen area is where we take our breaks and drink way too much coffee. We’ve been in this building for a few years and the neighbors are used to the constant delivery bikes coming and going. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come into the living room area where we keep the samples. It’s a bit messy and crowded, but it’s an honest way to spend the day.
