Our spot is 389 in the Market Yard area, specifically at the 10th Cross in HAL 1st Stage. We are right near the Ratnakar Bank. Being in Market Yard means things are always moving. There are bags and crates everywhere. We deal with wholesale goods, so it’s a lot of lifting and counting. The office part is just a small corner with a wooden desk and a couple of stools. It stays pretty busy from the early morning hours. We see a lot of farmers and traders coming through. It’s a dusty place, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have any big mission statements. We just buy and sell what’s in season or what’s needed. The traffic around the bank can be a mess, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows the name. We keep a ledger to track everything. It’s not high-tech at all. We rely on our hands and our eyes to check the quality of what comes in. Sometimes we sit outside on the crates when it’s not too hot. We have a few people who help with the heavy work. It’s a basic life. We provide what the market needs and we go home when the gates close. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We’ve been in this exact location for years and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon.
