Nayab Masale

You’ll find Nayab Masale on the Undri - Hadapsar Road. We are situated in Laxmi Park, which is part of the Mohammed Wadi area in Hadapsar. It’s a growing part of town with new shops opening every month. We’ve seen a lot of buildings go up around us since we first set up here. Our setup is pretty straightforward. We deal in masales and spices. The air around our place usually smells like cumin, turmeric, or chili, depending on what we are grinding on that particular day. It's a family-style environment here. We don't have a big HR department or fancy desks. We have our machines and our bags. The road outside gets really busy during rush hour, and it can be a nightmare. Sometimes it's hard for the supply vans to pull in or out. We just work around the traffic. The team is small, mostly people who live nearby in Hadapsar. We know each other's families and what's going on in the neighborhood. It's a bit noisy when the grinders are running, so we usually have to talk pretty loud to be heard. We don't put much stock in flashy advertising or social media. Word of mouth in Laxmi Park has always been enough for us. We just focus on making sure the spices are clean and ground to the right texture. It’s dusty, hard work. At the end of the day, we’re all covered in some kind of spice powder. We lock up and head home like everyone else. It's a practical business.
