Dhanlaxmi Verities

Our shop, Dhanlaxmi Verities, is situated right on the main road in Bibwewadi. We are directly opposite the Bibewadi police choki, so it’s a very easy place to find. Being near Ahesh Society means we get a lot of local residents coming in throughout the day. I usually start the day by cleaning the front area because the main road gets quite dusty with all the buses and cars passing by. We keep a variety of goods, mostly things that families nearby need for their homes. It’s a small operation. Most of the time, it’s just me or one of my cousins sitting here. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on the people who live in the society and the surrounding lanes. Sometimes the police from across the street come over for a quick chat or to buy something. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. The shelves are a bit disorganized sometimes because we have so many different types of items crammed into a small space. I try to keep track of everything, but it's a lot. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. The traffic noise is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. It’s just a regular shop where we try to provide what people are looking for without making a big deal out of it. We are usually here until late.
