Dharohar Foods

Dharohar Foods is tucked away at 3 Ashiyana Apartment on Dp Road. If you know Aundh, you know it’s a nice enough place to be. We aren't in a big factory or anything like that. We work out of this apartment space, which makes it feel more like a kitchen than an office. We spend our time dealing with different food products, mostly packing and sorting things out. The smell of spices or whatever we are working on that day tends to hang around the hallway. It’s a small team, just a few of us making sure everything is clean and the labels are on straight. The balcony is where we keep some of the empty crates. Dp Road can get pretty busy with people walking their dogs or going to the shops, so there’s always something to look at out the window. We started this because we liked the idea of local food, and we just kept going. It’s not a polished operation with uniforms or anything. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the orders ready. Sometimes the delivery guy gets lost because the apartment numbers are a bit confusing, but we just wave him down. It’s a simple way to spend the day, honestly. Just us, the food, and the usual routine in Aundh. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just doing the work as it comes in from the local folks.
