Apurva Chillies Traders

If you walk into the Mirchi Bazar, you’ll find us at Shop No. 4. It’s right there in Octin Hall No. 4, and you can usually smell the chillies before you even see the sign for Apurva Chillies Traders. It’s a dusty, loud place, especially when the big bags are being moved around. We spend our days talking to farmers who bring in their crops and buyers looking for a good batch. The air is always a bit spicy, which makes everyone sneeze now and then, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have any fancy displays or air conditioning. It’s just bags and bags of dried chillies stacked up high. We've been in this market for a long time, and we know most of the other traders nearby. Our shop isn't very big, but it’s always full of activity. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the spice, making sure it’s dried right and has the right color. It’s hard work, and your hands usually sting by the end of the day, but it’s what we do. We like the energy of the bazaar, even when it’s crowded and everyone is shouting to be heard over the noise. It’s a simple life of buying and selling, right here in the middle of the market where everything happens. Just a local shop doing its daily business. The floor is always covered in a bit of red dust.
