Sun Hotel

Our hotel is situated on 100 Feet Road in the Mudaliarpet area of Pondicherry. It is a fairly busy part of town, quite a distance from the quiet French Quarter but very central for people who have work to do. The building is at No. 1 and it is easy to spot when you are coming down the main road. We have rooms for all sorts of travelers, from people passing through for a night to those staying a bit longer for business. The lobby is simple and we usually have the local newspaper lying around for anyone waiting. It can get pretty hot and humid here, so we are always making sure the fans and air conditioning units are doing their job. The street noise is part of the experience, with bikes and buses going past all day long. We do not have a massive staff, just a few reliable people who handle the check-ins and keep the rooms clean. It is a straightforward place to stay. We do not offer a lot of extras, but we make sure the beds are made and the water is running. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to pull into the entrance, but people manage. We have been operating in Mudaliarpet for a while, and we know the local shops and eateries well. It is an honest, no-frills kind of place. Most of our guests just want a decent place to sleep, and that is what we provide.
