Hotel Dhanalakshmi

You can find us at No 59, Rangapillai Street in Pondicherry. We are very close to the Surya International Hotel, which is a big place that everyone knows. Our street, Rangapillai Street, is one of those old parts of town that is always full of life. There are markets nearby and shops selling everything you can think of. We called our place Hotel Dhanalakshmi. It’s not a massive building, just a regular spot in a busy row of shops and houses. Being in the 605001 area means we are right in the heart of the action. The street outside is usually full of bicycles and people walking to the market. We spend our time keeping the place tidy and talking to the people who come to stay with us. We don't have any corporate training. We just learned how to do things by doing them every day for years. The sea isn't too far away, and you can sometimes feel the breeze if the wind is right. Pondicherry has a specific way of life, and we are just a small part of it. We don't use a lot of fancy words to talk about our business. It’s just a local hotel on a local street. We keep the fans running and the floors swept. That’s about it for our daily routine. We like meeting the people who travel here. Some are tourists and others are just here for work. We try to make sure they have a decent place to sleep before they head back out.
