Hotel Sea Food Paradise

This place is right on the ECR main road in Kottakuppam. We are at the Auroville junction. It's number 1, Periya Mudaliar Chavadi. Most people find us because they're heading towards the junction anyway. We have been serving food here for some time. The kitchen is usually the loudest part of the building. We get deliveries early in the morning, mostly local stuff from around Pondicherry. The floors are tiled because it’s easier to mop. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home or going out. We have tables inside and we try to keep the napkins stocked up. It’s a practical spot for a quick meal. We don’t do fancy plating or anything like that. Just regular plates and spoons. The staff here has been working together for a few years now. We know the regulars who stop by on their way to work. The menu is written on a board mostly. We have a lot of space for people to sit, but it gets full on Sundays. If you’re at the 605104 area, you probably passed by us already. We keep the lights on late. Sometimes we run out of specific items if the market was slow. We just tell people what we have left. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too special about the decor. We just focus on getting the cooking done and keeping the place open for the neighborhood.
