Ullaaas

Ullaaas is located in the SBI Building right on Rajarhat Road. We are quite close to the Chinar Park crossing and not far from the Lokenath Mandir. Kolkata is always busy, but this specific corner feels especially crowded most days. Our space isn't huge. We’ve got our things set up so people can walk around and look, but you have to be careful not to bump into the displays. I spend a lot of my day standing near the door or checking the stock. The building is older, so the walls have some marks and the windows rattle when the big buses go by outside. We get a mix of people coming in—some who are just passing by after visiting the mandir and others who live in the apartments nearby. It’s a bit of a neighborhood spot. We don't have those glossy brochures or a polished sales pitch. If you like something, you buy it. The lighting is just regular tube lights, nothing like those expensive boutiques in the malls. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back entrance during the monsoon, so we keep some buckets handy. It’s just a normal shop run by people who live in the area. We know many of our customers by name because they’ve been coming here since we opened. We don't do much on the internet, mostly just word of mouth.
