Al Hameed

Al Hameed is located on Jessore Road, right at the Dakbanglow more in Barasat. If you know the area, we are just across from the PC Chandra Jewellers. It’s a busy spot in Kolkata, and things move pretty fast around here. We opened up this place because we wanted to be part of the local community. Every day starts early for us. We get the kitchen going before most people are even awake. There’s a lot of traffic on Jessore Road, so we hear the horns and the buses all day long. It's just part of being in Barasat. We have some regular customers who come in every week. They know where we are and what to expect. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's a straightforward restaurant. We handle the cooking and cleaning, and people come to eat. Sometimes it gets crowded, and you might have to wait a minute, but that’s just how it is. Being near the jewelry shop makes us easy to find if you're lost. We’ve been at this address, 700124, for some time now. We see families, office workers, and students. Everyone is just trying to get through their day. We provide a place to sit for a bit. There’s no big secret to it. We just open the doors and get to work. It is just a normal part of the Jessore Road scene.
