This house at Gg 82 in Salt Lake City is where everything happens. We started doing home delivery because we realized people around here are often too tired to cook after work. Salt Lake is big, and getting around for a meal can be a hassle. So, we stay here and get the food ready. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a big dining room or anything like that. We just focus on the kitchen and getting the boxes out the door. The traffic around the blocks can be a bit much in the evenings, but our riders know the shortcuts. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know where everyone is. Usually, it’s just a phone call and then we start the stove. We try to keep things steady. It’s mostly local recipes that we grew up eating ourselves. Nothing too complicated or weird. We buy our groceries nearby. Some days are quieter than others, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We do our own packing and make sure the bags aren't leaking. It’s just a small team of us working together. We’ve had some long nights, especially when there are power cuts or heavy rain, but we keep the kitchen running. People know where to find us if they want a home-cooked meal without the dishes. It’s just how we earn our bread and butter.
