TUTUR KITCHEN

TUTUR KITCHEN is our small place on the ground floor over at TD-1/7 on VIP Road. If you are looking for us, we are right near Uma Nursing Home, which is a big landmark in this part of Kolkata. Being on the ground floor is nice because people can just walk right in from the street without having to look for an elevator. The area around here stays pretty active. VIP Road is always full of cars and buses going towards the airport or into the city, so there is never a quiet moment. We started this kitchen because we wanted to have a spot where we could cook the kind of food we like eating. It is a lot of hard work, to be honest. We spend most of the morning prepping vegetables and getting the kitchen ready before the first orders start coming in. The staff here are like family, and we all just pitch in where needed. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the back when things are moving fast, but we manage. We don’t have a lot of space for sitting, so most people just pick up their food or we send it out. It’s a straightforward business. We aren't trying to do anything too complicated. We just want to make sure the food is ready on time and tastes right. That is what keeps us busy from morning until night every single day.
