Spice Hut

Spice Hut is a small spot in Rabindra Pally, Keshtopur. We are right on the Kestopur Main Road in Kolkata, 700101. If you know the area, we are just opposite Nandan Kanan. It is a very local neighborhood, and we have been here for quite some time. The main road is always full of rickshaws and people walking to the market. We are just one of the many small businesses lined up along the street. The place isn't big, and it can get quite hot in the summers, but we have some fans going to keep it cool. We serve basic meals to the people who live around here. It’s the kind of place where you can come in your slippers and nobody cares. We don't have a fancy website or anything. Most people just know us because they walk past us every day on their way to work. The staff is just a few guys from the neighborhood who know how to cook. We deal with the usual Kolkata rain and the traffic jams right outside our door. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s the reality of Rabindra Pally. We try to keep the food fresh and the prices low for the neighbors. It’s a modest business and we aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure the customers leave with a full stomach and a smile. It is a humble way to earn a living, and we enjoy seeing the familiar neighbors every day.
