Sanghai Restaurants is over at E B 21 in Deshbandhu Nagar. If you are looking for us in Kolkata, we are right across from the A C Market. That market is a big landmark, so it makes finding our address in the 700059 area much easier for everyone. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. Our place is quite simple inside. We don't have any polished corporate look or expensive furniture. It’s just a dining room where local people come to eat. The kitchen is right there, and you can usually hear the sounds of cooking if you sit near the back. We are a small team, and we do all the work ourselves, from buying the ingredients at the market to cleaning up at night. Deshbandhu Nagar is a loud and lively place, and we feel like we fit right in. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to sound like a big business. We just put the daily menu up and wait for people to come in. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the market across the street is full, but we just keep going. It’s an honest way to make a living in the city. If you happen to be near the A C Market, you’ll see our small sign right there on the opposite side of the road.
