Royal Biryani

Royal Biryani is located over in Italgacha, Kolkata. We are on the ground floor of the building at 119/2 on Tarun Sengupta Sarani. If you know where the HDFC ATM is, we are right near there. It’s a busy little spot. Kolkata is a city that loves its food, and we try to keep up with the demand. Every morning, the bags of rice and the meat arrive, and we get to work. It’s mostly just the same routine every day. We aren't trying to be some five-star hotel. It’s a local shop for local people. Sometimes it gets crowded and people have to wait, but usually, things move along okay. The area around Italgacha is always moving, so there’s always something to see out the front door. We have some regulars who come in every week, and then there are the people just passing through because of the ATM or the shops nearby. The staff here are just regular guys who know how to handle the big pots. We don't use any fancy machines or anything. It's all done by hand in the back. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it rains hard in Kolkata, but the stove stays lit. We don’t spend money on big ads or stuff like that. We just stay here in our spot and keep the food ready for whoever is hungry that day. It is what it is.
