Petuk Raja Restaurant

You can find Petuk Raja Restaurant at 4/S-3 on the ground floor of the Jessore Road stretch. We are in the Rajbari Colony area of Kolkata, very close to the 2.5 No Airport Gate. Being so near the airport means there is always the sound of planes and a lot of travelers passing by. We aren't a big, fancy place with air conditioning that works perfectly all the time, but we do our best. The restaurant is quite simple inside. We have some tables and chairs that have been around for a while. It’s a local spot where people from Rajbari Colony come to eat when they don't feel like cooking at home. Jessore Road is usually packed with cars and buses, so it can get pretty dusty near the entrance. We spend a lot of time sweeping and keeping things as clean as possible. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know our regulars and what they like to eat. It’s a very straightforward business. We buy our vegetables and meat from the local market every morning to make sure it's fresh. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or try to act like a five-star hotel. If you like the food, you come back. That's how it has always worked for us. It’s just a regular life in a busy part of the city.
