Noodle Oodle

Noodle Oodle is our little place over on Jessore Road in Kolkata. We are right by Bangur Avenue, not too far from Diamond Plaza, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. We’ve been here serving the local crowd for a bit now. It’s mostly just us in the kitchen making noodles and some other snacks that people enjoy when they’re out shopping or heading home from work. The name is a bit funny, but we liked how it sounded when we were first putting the sign up. Kolkata is a busy city and this part of Jessore Road gets really crowded in the evenings. We see a lot of students and families coming in after they spend time at the mall nearby. We keep the place pretty simple. There’s no fancy stuff here, just a spot to sit down and have a meal without too much fuss. We get our ingredients from the local markets around Bangur Avenue every day. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's been a particularly busy Friday, but that's just how it goes sometimes. We try to keep the flavors consistent so that when people come back, they get what they expect. It’s a small team here, and we all do a bit of everything, from taking orders to cleaning the tables. It’s just a regular local shop trying to do things the right way for the neighborhood and the folks who live nearby.
