New Star Hazi Biryani

New Star Hazi Biryani is on the ground floor at 211, Rajarhat Main Road. We are in the Rajarhat Gopalpur area of Kolkata, 700136. If you are taking the bus, we are right near the Salua Road Bus Stop. It is a busy spot where people are always hopping on and off. Our shop is not very big, but the smell of the biryani reaches all the way to the bus stop. We spend hours prepping the meat and the rice. Kolkata people know their biryani, so we try to keep things consistent. We use large handis and the steam fills up the whole shop. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons but we are used to it by now. We don't have much of a seating area, so a lot of people just take their packets and go. Sometimes we run out of biryani before the evening even starts. That is just how it goes on Rajarhat Main Road. We have been here for a while and the locals know us. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People just come because they like the food. The ground floor location makes it easy for anyone to just walk in. We keep the counter clean and the food hot. It is just a small Kolkata eatery doing its thing every day. We don't have a lot of help, so if you see us running around, that is just how we keep the handis full.
