Mum

Mum is a small place located at 42 Ground floor in Dumdum Park Bazar. We are in the Bangur Avenue area of Kolkata, specifically near the 2 No Tank. It’s a very local neighborhood and we’ve become a part of the daily life here. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop in while they are doing their shopping at the bazar. Kolkata has a certain way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. It’s not a big fancy establishment. It’s just a simple spot where we handle our business. The area around Bangur Avenue is always busy with people walking around and rickshaws going past. We hear the sounds of the market all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when it’s busy, but that is part of being in a local bazar. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us since we started. We know what they want before they even ask. It is just a friendly, normal place. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working there every day. We keep the place clean and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. It’s a basic setup but it works for what we do. We are glad to be a part of the Dumdum Park community and we hope to stay here for a long time. It’s home for us and our little shop fits right in with the rest of the street.
