Mehak E Punjab Restaurant

Our place is right on V I P Road in Baguihati, which stays pretty busy all day long. We’re tucked in near Teghoria, so if you’re around that part of Kolkata, you’ve probably passed us many times. It’s not a very big or flashy restaurant. We just have our tables set up and the kitchen stays busy from the afternoon until late at night. We spend most of our time back there cooking and making sure the food is ready for whoever walks in. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer, but that’s just how it is. We don't go in for any of that fancy marketing stuff. We’re just regular people serving food to our neighbors and anyone passing through on the way to the airport or wherever they are headed. The noise from the road is always there, but inside we just focus on the orders. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a local event or it’s a weekend evening. We’ve been at 68, V I P Road for a while now and we know the regulars who come in. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's just a spot to eat and move on with your day. We keep the place clean, the lights on, and the food cooking. That’s the way we’ve always done things here. If you're in Baguihati, you'll see us there.
