Maseekah

Maseekah is located in City Center 2, which is a big mall in the Rajarhat area of Kolkata. Our specific spot is in Block B, on the second floor, and we use rooms 215 and 217. Being in a mall is quite different from being on a regular street. We have to follow the mall’s opening and closing times and all their security rules. We’ve been here for a few years now. The 700157 area has seen a lot of growth lately, so there are always new people coming to the mall. We see a lot of families, especially on Saturdays and Sundays when the mall gets really crowded. During the week, it’s a bit quieter, which gives us time to catch up on things. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just us running this one location. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big office. Most of our work is done right there behind the counter. We have to deal with the usual mall stuff, like the air conditioning and the common area rules. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people all day. We don't really do any formal advertising. Most folks just find us while they are walking around the second floor looking at the different shops. We just try to keep our space neat and do our work as best as we can every day.
