Mallika Restaurants & Caterer

Our business, Mallika Restaurants & Caterer, is located at Fe 11, Sector 3 in Salt Lake City. We are right across from Central Park, which is a nice place to be. Sech Bhawan is also nearby, so we get a lot of people who work in those government offices coming by. Being in the 700091 area of Kolkata, things are usually quite busy. We have the restaurant part where people can sit, and then we also do catering for events. The kitchen is always a hub of activity with big pots of rice and curry being cooked up. We have a small team of workers who handle the cooking and the deliveries. During the lunch hour, it gets very crowded with the office crowd, and we have to move fast. Our catering van is often parked outside, getting loaded up for some party or gathering in Salt Lake. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; we just work out of our space in Sector 3. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We just focus on getting the food done and making sure we don't run out of ingredients. It is a simple, hardworking life here. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep up with the orders from the neighborhood. We have been in this spot for several years now and everyone knows us.
