Initiative

Our office, Initiative, is located at CG 27 in Sector 2 of Salt Lake City. We are right near Sech Bhawan, which makes it a pretty easy spot for people to find once they are in the 700091 area. Salt Lake is a bit quieter than the rest of Kolkata, which we appreciate when we are trying to get work done. We have a small setup here with a few desks and a lot of books and files scattered around. It’s not a corporate showroom. It’s just a place where we work on projects and meet with people who need our help. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking through ideas at the small table in the corner. Sometimes we go out for tea at the local stall nearby when we need a break from the screen. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the neighbors all know us. There isn't any fancy mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in every morning, check what needs to be finished, and get to it. Some days are more productive than others, especially when the weather is nice and we can leave the windows open. It’s a straightforward way of working. We just do what we do and try to keep things moving along without any unnecessary drama or complicated processes.
