Family Chicken Restaurant

We are over at Cf 123 in the Salt Lake area of Kolkata. The 700064 neighborhood is mostly residential, so we have a lot of families who live nearby and stop by for a meal. Our setup is pretty simple. We do not have a lot of fancy furniture or decor. Most of our focus is in the back where we handle all the chicken and the cooking. The morning starts with deliveries of fresh meat and vegetables, which we have to sort through and clean. It is a small team of us here, and we have all worked together for quite some time. Salt Lake is a nice place to be, and our street is usually fairly calm compared to the rest of the city. We spend our afternoons prepping for the dinner rush, which is when most of the families come in. There is a lot of washing up to do, and the kitchen gets pretty greasy, so we spend a lot of time scrubbing surfaces. We do not have a big marketing plan; we just put out a sign and open the doors. It is a straightforward business. We try to keep the prices where people can afford them and the portions big enough to satisfy someone after a long day of work. If you are walking through the Cf block, you will find us easily. We just do our own thing and try to keep the neighborhood fed. We close up once the last order is done.
