Dolphin Restaurant & Caterer is based in Kolkata, 700133. You can find us near the B T College Bus Stand. Being so close to a bus stand means we see a lot of people in a hurry. Students from the college and commuters are always passing by. We run both a small restaurant area and a catering service from this spot. It’s a busy little place and it gets quite humid in the kitchen when everything is cooking. We don’t have much space for a big dining room, but we make it work with what we have. Most of our day is spent prepping vegetables and getting the orders ready for delivery. It’s hard work and we are often on our feet for long hours. The bus stand is a noisy neighbor, with buses pulling in and out all day long. We don't really have time for polished menus or fancy decor. It’s about getting the food out to the people who need it. The staff here is small and we all do a bit of everything. Sometimes we run out of things or get backed up when a big group arrives all at once. That’s just part of the job in this part of Kolkata. We like being near the college because it keeps things lively. It’s a plain, hardworking place where we just try to get through the daily tasks. Sometimes we are still packing food late into the night for orders the next morning.
