Chutney Restaurant

So we are located on the ground floor of City Centre 2 in Hatiara. It's room number 3003, which is pretty easy to find once you get inside the mall. Kolkata is a big city and there are so many places to eat, but we’re just here doing our thing day in and day out. Being in a place like City Centre means we see all kinds of people, from families out shopping to folks just passing through Hatiara. It’s a busy environment but we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place in the mall or anything. We just want to serve decent food that people actually enjoy eating. The kitchen keeps us on our toes, and sometimes when it’s the weekend, it gets a bit hectic. We do our best to keep up with the rush. It’s just a normal restaurant. We don’t have some big corporate story. We just opened up because we like cooking and wanted a place of our own. The staff here is mostly local people from around the 700157 area. We try to treat everyone well. If you’re tired from walking around the shops, you can just come in and take a seat. We’ll get you some water and take your order. That’s how it goes every day. Nothing too complicated about it. We’re just glad to be a part of the local scene here in this part of town.
