Ripples

Ripples is our little spot located within the Club Mahindra Dancing Waters Resort. We are out in Village Bohra Gaon, which is in the Naukuchiatal area of the Nainital district. It’s about 263001 if you’re looking at the postal code. Being away from the main town of Nainital makes it a lot more peaceful here. We are right by the water, so we get to see the lake every day. Our work is pretty straightforward. We serve the guests who are staying at the resort and anyone else who happens to wander in while visiting the lake. The weather here can be quite something. When it rains, everything turns very green, and when it’s cold, we all huddle near the kitchen. We don't have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. We’re just a team of people who cook, clean, and chat with the guests. We spend a lot of time making sure the outdoor seating is clean because of the dust and the trees. It’s a very natural environment, which we like. We don't do much advertising because the location usually brings people in. We just focus on keeping the food coming out and the drinks cold. It’s a quiet life compared to the city, and we prefer it that way. We just do our jobs and enjoy the view when we have a spare minute. It’s a good way to spend the day.
