Jaika Restaurant

Jaika Restaurant is located inside the Relax Inn Hotel on NH-87 in Kathgodam. We are right at Nariman Chauraha, which is very close to the Kathgodam Railway Station. Being so near the trains means we see a lot of people who are just arriving or getting ready to leave for the hills of Nainital. It is a busy spot and things can get a bit rushed when a train is about to depart. The restaurant isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We serve food that is warm and comforting, which is what most travelers are looking for after a long journey. We don't use any fancy culinary terms to describe our dishes. It is just good food cooked on a stove. The hotel guests come down for breakfast, and then we have people coming in from the road all day long. The staff is used to moving fast to help people who are in a hurry to catch their ride. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just want to make sure you get a hot meal before you continue your journey up the mountain. The noise from the highway and the station is always there in the background. It is a practical place for practical people. We don't spend much time on decorations because we think the food should be the main thing. It is a simple, hardworking restaurant.
