Bisht RESTAURENT

I run Bisht RESTAURENT on the block road in Bhimtal. It is a small shop near the main road where we do our daily business. We started this place because there weren't many spots around here to get a quick bite that didn't cost a lot. The kitchen is right at the back, and I spend most of my time there making sure the tea is boiling and the snacks are ready for the morning. We get a lot of workers and drivers who stop by for a break. The shop is small, so when five or six people come in at once, it feels very full. I have a small radio that plays local songs while I work. The floor is tiled, but some of them have cracks from over the years. We don't mind, it’s just part of the shop’s character. Bhimtal is a beautiful place, but running a business here means dealing with the rain and the cold winters. We keep a heavy curtain at the door to stop the wind. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evening after we close the shutters. It’s a simple life. We don't have a big staff, just us and a boy who helps wash the dishes. We make sure the water is clean and the food is fresh every single day. That is all we really worry about here. It is just a modest place on block road for a simple meal.
