Bisht Restaurant

Bisht Restaurant is located on Block Road in Bhimtal, right near the Asha Complex. We have been here for a while now, serving people who live in the area and some tourists who wander up from the lake. The air is always nice here, even if the road gets a bit dusty when the buses go by. We have a small kitchen where we make basic meals like rice, dal, and local vegetables. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter or bringing out the plates. The interior is quite plain, just some sturdy tables and chairs we bought a few years back. We don't have fancy decorations, just a few calendars on the wall. Sometimes the power goes out in the hills, so we keep some candles and a torch handy. It’s a steady life, watching the weather change over the mountains while we prep for the lunch crowd. Most people who come in are regulars who work nearby. We know their names and how they like their tea. We aren't trying to be a big fancy hotel, just a place to get a warm meal. The steps leading up to the door are a bit worn down, but they’ve held up well. If you are walking down Block Road towards the main market, you’ll find us easily. It is just a quiet, regular spot to eat. We hope the stove stays hot and the food stays fresh.
