Al Kareem

If you happen to be in the Mallital area of Nainital, you might come across Al Kareem. We are located near the Jama Masjid and Gadi Padaw. The ground around here is quite steep, but that is just part of living in a hill station like this. We are also near the Kotwali. Our pin code is 263001. Nainital is a very beautiful place that lots of people visit, but for those of us here every day, it is just home and where we work. The air is always a bit cold in the mornings, even when the sun is out. Having the mosque so close means you hear the calls to prayer and see the people from the community walking by all the time. Gadi Padaw is a busy spot where there is always something going on. We are just a local place. We do not have a big corporate website or a team of people to handle our image. We just have our front door and the sign above it. It is a simple life up here in the hills. We see a lot of tourists during the season, but we also see the locals who live here year-round. We treat everyone the same way. The building we are in is quite old, just like many of the others in Mallital. We do not try to make it look modern. It is just Al Kareem, and we have our own routine.
