Chandra restaurant

Our place, Chandra restaurant, is up on Sattal road in Bhimtal. We are located near Graphic Era college, so we get a lot of students coming in. Bhimtal is a quiet place compared to the bigger towns in Nainital. The air is good here, but it gets very cold in the winter months. We have a small kitchen and a few tables for people to sit. It’s a family business, so it’s just us running things day to day. We don't have a massive menu with hundreds of items. We just cook what people usually want to eat when they are traveling or taking a break from studies. The road to Sattal is right there, so many people stop by on their way to the lakes. We have some old wooden chairs and the floors are plain. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We just make sure the food is ready on time. Sometimes the electricity goes out because we are in the hills, but we have some lanterns. It’s a simple life up here. We close up when it gets dark and the students head back to their hostels. We’ve been at this address for a few years now and the locals know us. We don't have any big plans to expand. We just like being here in Bhimtal. It’s a practical little spot for a meal. The weather changes fast, but the building stays steady. That's just how we run things.
