Uttar Pakurdear Producer Company Limited

We are a group of folks here in Uttar Pakurdiar. This whole thing started because we needed a way to organize what we grow. Jinnath Ali helps us out with the space, and his place is where we mostly meet up to talk about the crops. Murshidabad has good soil but sometimes the market is hard for us small guys. We got registered as Uttar Pakurdear Producer Company Limited to see if we could do better together. It is not fancy. We just have a small office near Faridpur. People around here know where it is. Mostly we deal with what the season gives us. Sometimes there's a lot of rain and that changes things. We aren't big city people. We just work the land and try to make sure things get sold at a price that makes sense. Jalangi is a quiet place and we like it that way. You can find us near the village school usually if we aren't at Jinnath’s house. There are quite a few of us now. It takes a lot of time to get everyone on the same page but it is getting there. We don't have a big website or anything. Just this group of neighbors trying to make a living. West Bengal weather is tough on the crops lately. We spend most of our days out in the fields or checking on the storage. If you come by, someone will probably be drinking tea outside and can help you.
