Bhagwangola Digha Krishi Shakti Women Producer Company Limited

This group started because the women here in Digha village wanted to work together on farming. We are based at Chhabi Mondal’s house, which is near Kalukhali. It’s a local effort, and we don’t have any big office building or anything like that. We just meet up in the village and talk about the crops. Everyone brings their own experience to the table. Some of us have been farming for decades, while others are newer to it. We deal with agricultural stuff, trying to get things organized so we can sell what we grow. It’s not always simple, especially with the paperwork required for a producer company. We have a lot of meetings, usually in the afternoons when the main chores are done. The village life keeps us busy, but we make time for this. It’s about agriculture and helping each other out. We don’t use any big words or have a grand plan, we just take it day by day. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get things sorted, but mostly we are right here in the village. It’s a community thing. We are just women from the area trying to make the most of what we have. It’s practical work, and it keeps us grounded. The fields are where we spend most of our time anyway. We are just trying to make things a little easier for everyone involved in our little group here.
