We are based on 81A Old Police Line Road in Berhampore, which is in the Murshidabad area. The company is called Farm N Farm Agro Producer Companylimited. It sounds like a big name, but we are really just a group of people working together on agricultural things. Our office is on a road that gets quite a lot of traffic, so there is always something going on outside. We spend most of our time talking to local producers and trying to coordinate the sales. It is a lot of back-and-forth on the phone every single day. The office is not anything special—just some desks, a few fans to keep the heat away, and plenty of tea for whoever stops by. We started this because we saw that farmers around Berhampore needed a better way to get their stuff to the market. We are not experts in everything, but we know the local land and the people who live here. Sometimes the paperwork gets overwhelming because there are so many rules now, but we take it one step at a time. My friend from school handles the accounts and I spend a lot of time out meeting folks in the village. It is a busy life. Murshidabad has a long history of farming, and we are just trying to keep that going in a way that works for today. We do not promise anything impossible, we just try to be honest and work hard for our members.
