Nowda Farmer'S Producer Company Limited is based out of Satyajit Mondal's place in Nowda village. We are right in the middle of Murshidabad. Debpur is the post office we use. We are a group of farmers who decided it was time to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing. It's not always easy because everyone has their own ideas about how to grow things. Satyajit helps keep us organized. We don't have a lot of equipment, just the basics. Most of our work is done by hand or with small machines. The soil here is okay but you have to treat it right. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather and when to plant. Being a producer company helps us get better deals on things we need. It's a simple setup. No big signs or anything. We just meet up and decide what the plan is for the next harvest. It’s a lot of work and sometimes the money isn't what we hoped for. But we keep going. That's just how it is here. Most people in the village know us. We are just neighbors helping each other out. If you walk down the main path in Nowda, you'll find us soon enough. We aren't looking to become some huge company, just want to keep our farms running so our kids have something for later on.
