Khidirpur Allor Disha Farmer'S Producer Company Limited is over in Khidirpur Natunpara. We are at Jindar Sk’s place, he’s the son of Polad Sk. Our post office is Baruipara. We are a bunch of farmers from this part of Murshidabad. We thought if we worked together under one name, we might have a better shot at things. It’s mostly just us locals. We don't have any big investors or anything. Just our own hands and some shared equipment. Jindar’s house is where we meet to talk. Sometimes we sit on the porch and talk about the prices of things. It’s a simple life here. We grow what we can and hope for a good season. The rain is either too much or too little, it seems. We try to help each other out with advice or extra hands when it’s time to pick the crops. Being a producer company means we can sometimes buy seeds in bulk which saves us a bit of money. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of. If you visit, you won't see a big factory. Just houses and fields. That’s how we like it. We are just honest people trying to do our best with what we have. Most of the time, we are out in the mud or checking the progress of the plants.
