Woodstock

Woodstock is located on Judges Bunglow Road in Ghatkopar. It’s a decent spot for people to sit and have a bite. We’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years, more cars and more people passing through. We mostly get a younger crowd, but plenty of families come in too. The chairs aren't the softest, but they do the job. We try to keep the music at a level where you can still hear the person across from you. The kitchen is small, so when it’s busy, things might take a little longer. We tell people that upfront. We do different kinds of food, mostly stuff that's easy to eat while you're talking. The lighting inside is a bit dim because we think it feels more comfortable that way. Sometimes the front door sticks a little when it rains, you just have to give it a good push. We’re not trying to be the most famous place in Mumbai. We just want to be a place in Ghatkopar where you can get a meal and not feel rushed. Most of the staff have been here for a couple of years, so we know how each other works. It's a steady rhythm. If you're walking down Judges Bunglow Road, you'll see our sign. It's nothing too flashy, just simple and clear so you know where we are. We spend our mornings cleaning up and getting the supplies in before the lunch crowd starts arriving. It's a lot of work, but we like being here.
