Vivil Exports Ltd. is based on the third floor of the Dhannur Building on Sir P.M. Road in the Fort area. Fort is a historic part of town, so the building has that old-school feel with high ceilings and thick walls. Being on the third floor means we get a little bit of a view, but mostly we’re just looking at other office buildings. We’ve been in 3A for a while now. The office is full of samples and boxes because that’s the nature of export work. It’s not always the most organized place, especially when a big shipment is going out. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to people in different time zones. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from packing boxes to filing paperwork. Sir P.M. Road is a busy stretch, and there are always people rushing around outside. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. You just come up to the third floor and knock. We’re usually here from morning until late evening depending on what needs to get sent off. We aren't trying to be a giant corporation; we just focus on moving our goods and keeping our contacts happy. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it this way for years without needing to change much.
