Utkarsha Impex

Utkarsha Impex is based at B-37/36 on the first floor of Indraprastha CHS. This is in Anand Nagar, Dahisar East. It’s a residential society building, so it has a different feel than a downtown office block. We like it here because it’s a bit more relaxed. The office is basically a converted apartment space. We have desks in what would be the living room and some storage in the other rooms. The balcony has some old crates and a few chairs where we sit when we need some fresh air. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but the exercise is good. We know the security guards and the people living in the building quite well. Sometimes there’s noise from kids playing outside or neighbors talking, but it’s not too bad. Inside, the walls are painted a light blue. We have a lot of files and binders stacked on shelves because we still do a lot of things on paper. It’s a small team here. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most days it’s just us doing our data entry and checking orders. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the samples and paperwork, it’s a challenge. It’s a local business through and through, right here in the heart of Dahisar. We just stay busy and keep the lights on.
