You can find Turret Art Metal Pvt. Ltd. over at Shiva Estate. We take up units 15 and 16. It’s right on Lake Road, not too far from the Tata Power House in Bhandup West. It’s a busy area with a lot of other businesses around. We do a lot of metal work here, mostly stuff that takes a bit more attention to detail than your average machine shop. The workshop is always full of projects at different stages. Some days it’s a bit chaotic with all the welding and grinding going on. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The location is handy because of the proximity to the power house, makes it easy to give directions. We don't spend much time on the office side of things. Most of us are out on the floor actually making things. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer. We just keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just have our tools and our materials and we get to it. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or borrow a tool. It feels like a proper community here in the estate. We like it that way. No big speeches or complicated rules, just regular folks working with metal every day. We just try to keep the work where it needs to be and keep the customers happy enough with the final product. It’s what we've always done.
