Time Store

Time Store is tucked away in D-1 of the Vivina Shopping Centre. We have been here in Versova for a long while now. Andheri West is always moving so fast, but inside the shop, things are a bit slower. We deal with all sorts of watches and clocks. Some are old ones that people bring in because they stopped ticking years ago, and some are just everyday wristwatches. It gets a bit cramped in here with all the glass cases and tools spread out. We spend a lot of time looking through those magnifying lenses at tiny gears. It’s quiet work, mostly. People come in from the shopping center just to change a battery or fix a broken strap. We see all kinds of people, from students to older folks who have lived in Versova since before it got so crowded. The lights in the mall can be a bit bright, but we stay focused on the workbenches. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the delicate parts. Sometimes parts are hard to find for the older pieces, so we have to search around. It’s satisfying when a clock starts working again after being silent for a decade. If you’re walking through Vivina, you can’t miss us. We keep the shop open until late evening. It’s a small space, but it’s where we do our daily work and keep time moving.
