Oriental Sales Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Room No 44 on the 4th floor of the A Wing. We are right near Vidhan Bhavan on Old Madras Road in Nariman Point. Being in such a busy part of the city means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our windows. The walk from the station can be a bit long when it’s hot, but we’ve gotten used to the daily commute. Our office isn’t anything fancy to look at. It’s just a place where we sit at our desks and get through the day’s work. There are a few filing cabinets and some old chairs for when people come by to talk. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs if we’re in a hurry, which is a good workout at least. Nariman Point is a weird mix of old and new buildings, and ours has been here for quite a while now. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure orders go out and the phones are answered. It gets pretty quiet in the evenings after everyone else in the building heads home. We usually stay a bit later to finish up the paperwork. It’s a simple life here, just doing what we need to do to keep the business running from this small corner of the city. We don't really have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the room number.
