Roshan Industries

Roshan Industries is located over at C-20 near the Singh Industrial Estate on the 2nd Cross in Goregaon. The shop is usually busy from early in the morning when we open the shutters. You can hear the machines going all day long and the street outside is almost always full of trucks and guys moving heavy things around. It gets pretty hot inside during the afternoons but we just keep at it and do what needs to be done. Most people in the area know us because we have been here in Goregaon for quite a long time now. The 2nd Cross is a little bit narrow so sometimes the deliveries take a bit more time to get through the traffic than you might expect. We just do our daily work, talk to the neighbors, and try to get all the orders out by the time the shift ends. There is usually some tea being passed around around four o’clock which is a nice break. It is just a normal workshop where we make stuff and handle whatever comes in. Most of the people working here live close by so they just walk or take the train to the Goregaon station and then come here. It is definitely not a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a solid workspace with tools and materials stacked up against the walls. We stay busy with the work at hand. Sometimes the power goes out for a while but we just wait and start again.
