Nicmar

Nicmar is situated within the Shree Mahalakshmi Chs Ltd on Veera Desai Road. If you know Andheri West, you know how busy this stretch can get. Being inside a housing society makes the workplace feel a bit more relaxed than a standard office block. We have a few rooms here where we manage everything. The building itself is one of those older cooperative societies. It’s got a lot of trees around, which is nice when it gets hot outside. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. Most of our day is spent handling local projects and dealing with the paperwork that comes with them. We don't have a fancy entrance with a security guard checking IDs. You just walk into the society and come to our unit. The staff here is small, just a handful of us who have worked together for a long time. We usually eat lunch together in the small kitchen area. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don’t wear suits or follow strict corporate schedules. As long as the work gets done, we’re happy. Sometimes the society has meetings or repairs going on, so it can get a bit noisy, but we just work through it. It’s a good location for us because everything we need is just a short walk or rickshaw ride away. It feels like a real part of the Andheri community. We keep things pretty straightforward here, no extra fuss.
