Our office is tucked away in the Todi Estate, which is part of the Sun Mill Compound in Lower Parel. If you know the area, you’ll find us situated right above the post office. Lower Parel is full of these old compounds that have been turned into workspaces, and Sun Mill is one of the more active ones. At Nbt Exports Private Limited, we handle a lot of different goods and documents every day. Being above the post office is actually quite useful for an export business. The space we have in Todi Estate is fairly standard—desks, chairs, and a lot of boxes waiting to be moved. It’s a bit of an industrial feel, which suits the kind of work we do. There’s always some kind of noise coming from the other units in the compound or from the street below. We don't have a lot of fancy decor; we just keep things functional so we can get through the daily list of tasks. Lower Parel has changed a lot over the years, but this corner of the compound still feels very much like a place where real work gets done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists of items. It’s a busy life, but we like being in the middle of it all. We just come in, do our jobs, and head home like everyone else. The estate is a good home for our daily operations.
