R K Traders

R K Traders is tucked away on the ground floor of the Rangoli Time Complex in Lower Parel East. Being at unit number 44 means we are right in the middle of a lot of action. Lower Parel is always moving fast, and we try to keep up with that pace. We handle various goods and supplies that local businesses need. It’s not a very big office, but we use the space we have as best as we can. Boxes often pile up near the door when a new delivery comes in. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. People just walk in and ask what they need. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking invoices. It can get quite loud with all the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a few months. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other shop owners in the complex. We don’t go in for big sales pitches. If we have what you want, we tell you the price and that’s it. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we just use the stairs since we are on the ground floor anyway. It’s just a regular trading spot in a busy part of Mumbai. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused while counting the stock at the end of the day.
