We are set up at 156 in the Suvarna Baug Colony, which is right near Esplanade High School in the Fort area. This part of the city has so much history with all the old buildings and narrow lanes. Our shop is in a spot that gets a lot of foot traffic from students and people working in the nearby offices. It is a modest space, nothing too elaborate. We have been here long enough that the peeling paint on some of the walls does not bother us much anymore. We just focus on the work we have in front of us. Fort is a busy place, but our little corner feels a bit more like a community. We know the tea seller nearby and the people at the school. We do not have a marketing strategy or a fancy mission statement. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for customers to come in. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with various parts and tools, but we know where everything is. It is an honest way to spend the day. We are not looking to become a huge chain or anything like that. We just want to keep doing what we have been doing for the folks who live and work around here. It is a practical business run by people who actually care about the neighborhood we are in.
